So You Think You Can Dance!

Image

I kind of suck at this whole blogging thing...sorry

Here's what I've learned in life. No matter how many times Lauren Graham in on Ellen, she's always hilarious! Always. So here is a tribute to L.G. on Ellen. Seriously, check it out. From February of 2006 From May of '07 From October of '09 I think I could watch these videos over and over again. They never get old. And someone better watch these!

Oh the random quizzes I've taken

Image
So, for whatever reason, I'm bored today, and have been taking many a random quiz on facebook. And for the most part, the answers seem to fit me well. Here's what I've taken. What Grey's Anatomy Character Are You? Which Office Character Are You? How Sarcastic Are You, Really? How Random is Your Bible Knowledge? What Should Your Major Be? Which Gossip Girl Character Are You? What Wicked Character Are You? Which Historical Female Figure Are You? Which House M.D. Character Are You? What New York City Borough Are You? (notice the tv character quizzes. I may watch too much television) So the Grey's Anatomy Quiz was wrong because it told me that I'm Christina, when I am clearly Meredith. I'm dark and twisty inside, and have abandonment issues. Kat is Christina. Come on, this clip says it all. I am Meredith, and Kat is Christina kicking me out of bed.) The Office Quiz told me that I'm Pam, and I can deal with that. I'm Abnormally Sarcastic according to anot...

Sometimes, I feel like this...

KATE MONSTER: I wish I could go back to college. Life was so simple back then. NICKY: What would I give to go back and live in a dorm with a meal plan again! PRINCETON: I wish I could go back to college. In college you know who you are. You sit in the quad, and think "Oh my God! I am totally gonna go far!" ALL:  How do I go back to college? I don't know who I am anymore! PRINCETON:  I wanna go back to my room and find a message in dry-erase pen on the door! Ohhh... I wish I could just drop a class... NICKY: Or get into a play... KATE MONSTER: Or change my major... PRINCETON: Or f--- my T.A. ALL: I need an academic advisor to point the way! We could be... Sitting in the computer lab,  4 A.M. before the final paper is due,  Cursing the world 'cause I didn't start sooner,  And seeing the rest of the class there, too! PRINCETON: I wish I could go back to college! ALL:  How do I go back to college?! Ahhhh... PRINCETON: I wish I had taken more pictures. NICKY: But, if I...

Proof that I'm a graduate!

Just because there needs to be proof.

So funny

So, Julie did a dessert thing with the PTA for the twin's school the other day. I went with her to pick up Shannon from school and to help Julie clean up from the dessert thing. So, we go into the front office and Julie's talking to the lady behind the front desk and there are two other women standing in the back talking. They both recognize Julie, and I hear one of them say, who's that other person with her, and the other lady says, and I quote, "must be her daughter". HILARIOUS! It happened to be Julie's 28th birthday that day. There's only a four year age difference between us. Seriously, someone thought I "must be her daughter"? Now I keep calling her mom. Ha.

YAY!

Road Trip

Here's my adventure across the country, from Pennsylvania, stopping in Idaho, and ending in Utah.  Mary was the first to drive.  I took the wheel after a while Leaving Pennsylvania and entering Ohio. (We stopped at every state sign, minus Illinois, because there wasn't one.) A picture of Mary and I, with me driving Leaving Ohio and entering Indiana. I like our shadows. I'm on the left, and Mary's on the right.  You get a little stir crazy after being in a car for a while.  Mary and I at a restaurant in Chicago. We got great pizza.  The night we were in Chicago was New Years Eve, so we went to the Navy Pier for fireworks and music and dancing, etc. So much fun.  Inside the Navy Pier. Mary and I inside. Leaving Illinois and entering Iowa. Apparently the world's largest truck stop is in Iowa. Who knew.  Leaving Iowa and entering Nebraska.  Did I mention that you get stir crazy after a while? Leaving Nebraska and entering Wyoming.  The next day we made it to Rexburg, Id...
